Friday Night is a solo live album by American musician Will Butler, who is also a member of Arcade Fire. It contains live versions of many songs from his debut album Policy as well as five new songs and two of the songs that he recorded for The Guardian in a one-week song-a-day project. The album was released on June 17, 2016 by Merge Records. Most of the songs for Friday Night were recorded at Lincoln Hall in Chicago on June 4, 2015.

It was also the first song to feature the newest member of Arabesque, 19 year-old, Heike Rimbeau on lead vocals. Michaela and Karen provide backing vocals. The song expresses the singer's regret of not being able to be with her lover for "seven lonely days" until Friday night, during which they drink wine, kiss, and make love.

The album comprises five songs from Butler's Policy debut LP, two songs he recorded for The Guardian as part of a songwriting project, and five brand new songs. Think of this as a comedy record. In some ways literally-Brooklyn comedian Jo Firestone does the introduction and the "solo" in "Friday Night"-but also, it's an album based on working out ideas in a room full of people, playing off their energy and expectations. It's about taking complicated emotions and wringing communal joy from them, and then translating that joy onto record. So here you go! Friday Night

Indiana Wesleyan University is prepping to put on its next Friday Night Live (FNL), a bi-annual student-run comedy show, at 8:45 . on Friday, Nov. 2. The show will take place in the Phillippe Performing Arts Center. FNL has been an IWU tradition for nearly 25 years. The goal of the show is to provide a break from stress to not only students, but also the faculty and surrounding Marion community. The cast finds meaning in fighting a war on stress by laughing about life through cleverly written sketches and silly videos
