Madison Dyke from Germany and their one and only album released in 1977 named Zeitmaschine aka Time machine. This is fairly decent towards great in places space prog very much similar with Eloy but without being very consistent as their county fellows. Also some folkish moments appear sporadicaly. 4 pieces on the album with 2 highlights, the short mellow acustical little gem with great flute and intresting arrangements Cooking Time Of An Egg and the ending track Zeitmaschine clocking aroun 16 min of pure delight space prog with some symphonic touches in parts. Madison Dyke produced an excellent album for its time, on par with what many of its longer lived contemporaries were doing. Recommended for fans of German symphonic prog.

Madison Dyke ‎– Zeitmaschine. Label: Garden Of Delights ‎– CD 106. Format: CD, Album, Reissue. ZEITMASCHINE amounts to a nice album with some unique touches. Whilst this CD is superior in sound quality to the Italian CD reissue, it also includes their earlier (1975) single Walkin'/Dice-Box, which is pretty much near-on bubblegum pop music. So, that's no reason to upgrade unless you're finicky about the quality, or want everything including the usual thick Garden of Delights booklet. Label: Racket Records ‎– RRK 1. 01. Format: Vinyl, LP, Album. The album was released with 2 inserts: 1 photo insert of the band 1 insert with band name in black&white Rear cover: All songs published by SWP Recorded and remixed at Toncooperative Studios, July/August 1977 Mastered at SST Frankfurt. Special thanks to Achim Kirschning and to our Road-Crew Rainer Deckers, Burkhard Lippelt.

Talk about Madison Dyke - Zeitmaschine

Usanner
Not at all in keeping with the rest of the Garden of Delights catalogue, as Madison Dyke were hardly at all psychedelic, and were pretty much a precursor to much of what we call neo-prog. They did have a complex style with hard-rock tendencies, leading to comparisons with Jane and Harlis. Yet, more often their elaborate lengthy tracks with extended instrumentals, and lyrical fantasy akin to Genesis, could be compared to many other British bands of the era. ZEITMASCHINE amounts to a nice album with some unique touches.Whilst this CD is superior in sound quality to the Italian CD reissue, it also includes their earlier (1975) single Walkin'/Dice-Box, which is pretty much near-on bubblegum pop music.
