They changed their name to 'Marc & Dave'. In 1976, Marc & Dave was at the great Schlager festival of Harry Thomas. They sang their then hit 'Das geht vorüber' in the midst of around 20 major German artists and 5,000 enthusiastic schlager fans. The music show was broadcast on television. International fame was born. A successful year ended with a performance during the big Sylvester ball in the Stadthalle of Vredenburg (D). During this festival they sang the songs of their first single, 'Das geht Vorüber' and 'Costa d'amore'

Marc Cohn is the self-titled debut album released in 1991 by American singer-songwriter Marc Cohn. The album peaked at No. 38 on the Billboard 200 Chart. It was RIAA certified gold in 1992 and was certified platinum in 1996. The album is known for the hit single "Walking in Memphis".
