Stronger, Perfect is a music studio album recording by THE FIFTH SEASON (Progressive Metal/Progressive Rock) released in 2006 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. As both a glance at the line up and a listen to the opening minutes of the album will confirm, the metal tag here should be taken with a pinch of salt. Floating, ambient sounds, melodic flute and drifting keyboards create a fine initial impression as "The first sun" rises. Running to some 10� minutes, "Prologue: The first sun" makes its way through a succession of impressive styles and sounds. Even when stronger riffs inevitably force their way forward, they are always controlled.

The Fifth Season Is a psychedelic progressive metal band from Italy, they formed in 2000 and produced a demo cd named "The Fifth Season", they almost totally change the lineup in the fall of 2003.

The Fifth Season is a 2015 science fantasy novel by N. K. Jemisin. It was awarded the Hugo Award for Best Novel in 2016. It is the first volume in the Broken Earth series and is followed by The Obelisk Gate and The Stone Sky. The Fifth Season takes place on a planet with a single supercontinent called the Stillness. Every few centuries, its inhabitants endure what they call a "Fifth Season" of catastrophic climate change.

Come nello sport ci può stare di cogliere l’incrocio dei pali con uno splendido tiro a girare, o di inciampare sull’ultimo ostacolo poco prima del traguardo, così anche nella musica può accadere di mancare il bersaglio, magari solo per una questione di centimetri.
I romani The Fifth Season pagano dazio al loro esordio discografico cadendo nel tranello più comune: la smania di dimostrare al mondo le proprie qualità e la propria bravura. Stronger Perfect raccoglie infatti al suo interno idee e suggestioni elaborate e sviluppate nel corso di anni, secondo le linee guida fornite da un concept album dai toni epici e sognanti, «incentrato su una mitologia mistica e introspettiva che cerca di richiamare l'attenzione a concetti su cui il mondo si poggia pur negandogli il rispetto, come l'Amore e la Verità». Un concept di circa un’ora di durata, che alterna frequenti cambi di atmosfera, pause e improvvise ripartenze, suoni e rumori, miscelando stili diversi con buona disinvoltura e capacità tecniche.

Quello che sembra mancare è un lavoro di raffinazione e amalgama che possa in qualche modo facilitare l’ascolto di quelle che si presentano realmente come una serie di serrate mini – suite, veri e propri mosaici di idee non sempre portate a compimento. Il risultato è un album che parte dal prog metal per arrivare a qualcosa di più e di diverso, lambendo a tratti territori space e psichedelici. Il sound dei Fifth Season è potente ma al tempo stesso intriso di misticismo, con le corpose tastiere di Vonkreutz (purtroppo dimissionario) e il flauto magico del singer Bodhi che sanno regalare all’ascoltatore i momenti più esaltanti. La sensazione è comunque che il bello arrivi ora: presa coscienza delle proprie possibilità e dei propri mezzi, i Fifth Season potranno finalmente concentrarsi sulla composizione di nuovo materiale e decidere con maggiore consapevolezza come modellare la loro identità.
