Ray Edward Cochran (/ˈkɒkrən/; October 3, 1938 – April 17, 1960) was an American musician. Cochran's rockabilly songs, such as "Twenty Flight Rock", "Summertime Blues", "C'mon Everybody" and "Somethin' Else", captured teenage frustration and desire in the mid-1950s and early 1960s. He experimented with multitrack recording, distortion techniques, and overdubbing even on his earliest singles. He played the guitar, piano, bass, and drums

Album, 1960, London Recordings.

Album · 2009 · 76 Songs. The Eddie Cochran Story Eddie Cochran.

Ray Edward "Eddie" Cochran born in Albert Lea, Minn. Cochran's debut album-the only one released during his lifetime-was Singin' For My Baby, released in November 1957. It was an uneven effort full of ballads foisted on him by Liberty, which was, as noted in 2003 biography Three Steps to Heaven, trying to position Cochran as "an inoffensive hybrid of Pat Boone and Elvis Presley.

The Eddie Cochran Memorial Album Tracklist. 1. C'mon Everybody Lyrics.

Eddie Cochran released only one album during his lifetime, which was abruptly cut short when his taxi crashed en route to a London airport at the end of a British tour. Also injured in the accident were rocker Gene Vincent and Cochran’s fiancée, songwriter Shari Sheeley. The single Cochran released just before his death, eerily enough, was entitled Three Steps to Heaven. Inductee: Eddie Cochran (guitar, vocals; born October 3, 1938, died April 17, 1960)
