Post-metal/hardcore quartet Old Skin and caustic crust trio Harrowed are teaming up for a UK weekender this December. The kindred pair will play four shows across the North of England and Scotland, starting in Leeds on 11 December, before heading up to Glasgow and then finishing back in Manchester on 14 December e Atrocity Exhibit. The thirteen-track compendium showcases Iron Witch’s distilled blend of nihilistic, booze fuelled, Northern sludge; dragged kicking and screaming from the murky banks of the River Mersey. Iron Witch are currently hard at work on their debut album, tentatively due in early 2015, but will be taking a break from the practice tomb for a pair of shows at the end of November.

The Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album was awarded from 1983 to 2011 and from 2017 onwards. Until 1992 the award was known as Best Traditional Blues Performance and was twice awarded to individual tracks rather than albums. The award was discontinued after the 2011 Grammy season in a major overhaul of Grammy categories. From 2012 onwards, the category was merged with the Best Contemporary Blues Album category to form the new Best Blues Album category.
