The Blackout - Start The Party flac album

Start the Party is the fourth and final studio album by Welsh post-hardcore band The Blackout. It was released in January 2013 under Cooking Vinyl Records. Matthew Pritchard of Dirty Sanchez fame appears on the album cover. In August, the group performed at the Reading and Leeds Festivals, before headlining the Merthyr Rock festival. On 17 September, Start the Party was announced for release in January

The title track of their fourth album actually begins with a similarly buoyant vein. 50. This is a record which will no doubt appeal to long-term fans of the band as it revels in the same sonic territory as their previous output, and it works as a party-starting soundtrack with its simple lyrics and vitality, but there's a distinct lack of any real depth or enterprise.

I'm not sure why The Blackout called their new album Start The Party. I think I know why. In the past, The Blackout have had a slight twist on their otherwise pop-y brand of post hardcore. The Best In Town was hard hitting and energetic, and Hope experimented a little more with atmosphere. But Start The Party has nothing.
