XXV is the 25th-anniversary studio album by Polish death metal band Vader. It was released in 2008 by Regain Records. The album is a collection of re-recorded songs from earlier Vader albums, from The Ultimate Incantation up to The Beast.

Vader's first album was first recorded at Sunlight Studios in Stockholm with Tomas Skogsberg. However Earache was unsatisfied with the result and had the band re-record the album in England with Paul Johnston producing. Most cassette versions of the album omit the track Reign-Carrion.

Vader’s debut The Ultimate Incantation is one of the first death/thrash metal albums from Poland. The Ultimate Incantation is a mix between death and thrash metal, most of the riffs and leads are played more in a thrash manner while the drumming, vocals, and solos are more firmly in the death metal style. In essence you could call The Ultimate Incantation an extreme thrash album, with a technical edge. No album is perfect and The Ultimate Incantation is no different. One of the flaws is that there are too many songs and the length of the album is nearly fifty minutes just too long for this album. If the album could have been reduced to 9 or 10 songs, and about 40 minutes this album would have been even better. The second flaw is the production while clear enough to hear the songs well it has a very gritty and low volume feel to it.

The Ultimate Incantation is the debut album by Vader. It was released in 1992 by Earache Records. The cover art was drawn by Dan Seagrave. The album was originally recorded at Sunlight Studios with Thomas Skogsberg but neither the record label or Vader was pleased with the outcome, and decided to try another studio. The new studio that they recorded at was Rhythm Studios in England with producer Paul Johnson.
