Urizen -pronounced Your Reason -worms its way out of the speakers on a loopy, druggy acoustic guitar line that is swiftly buttressed by a contrapuntal bassline, ably supported by thumping percussion and layered over with owpane guitar buzz. The songs are deeply beholden to the Beatles, right down to the George Harrison vocal stylings of Graveyard and I Don’t Mind, while John Lennon’s clone appears to have sung the admittedly catchy Read Me.
