Grouplove is an indie pop band which formed in 2009 in Los Angeles, California, United States. The band released their debut album, Never Trust a Happy Song, in September 2011, which was followed by Spreading Rumours, released September 2013.

Grouplove: Hits For Days! Andrew: We recorded about twenty three songs for this album. It’s almost as though you could gauge friends that way, like if you were to bring a friend to a Grouplove show and they didn’t leave with a smile you could be sure that that friend wasn’t a good friend hahaha.

Grouplove released their third studio album, Big Mess, on September 9, 2016. On July 15, 2016, the band released the lead single from the album, "Welcome to Your Life" Chart success. Three years after the release Spreading Rumors in 2013, Grouplove is back with their third studio album Big Mess. The album’s name comes from the chaos that surrounded the band during the album’s creation. Everything from power outages to new born babies contributed to the big mess in the band members' lives. The album was originally released on September 9, 2016 in the format to the left with 11 songs.

Colours" is a song by the American indie rock band Grouplove. It is the fourth track from their first album Never Trust a Happy Song, and also appeared on their first EP, Grouplove. The song was the first single released from the album, on July 7, 2011, with a music video. The song was produced by Ryan Rabin. The music video for "Colours" was released on January 4, 2011. It shows the lead singer, Christian Zucconi, being hung from a tree before the other band members attack, dressed as Native Americans.
