Dying Passion came out on top places in polls of various rock periodicals in category "Newcomer of the Year". 2000 "Secretly" Dying Passion signed a contract on their first album Secretly straight away with two indie labels - Metal Breath Production and Epidemie Records. The CD war released in May 2000. Music of Dying Passion was enriched by another instrument – the violin, which with the combination of the flute evoked nearly mediaeval and slight folk atmosphere. They made an appearance at the festivals Rock For People, Brutal Assault and Metal Breath Tour
