Mustered Courage - Powerlines flac album

Mustered Courage are a progressive bluegrass and Americana based band from Melbourne, Australia. The band's music combines elements of bluegrass, country, rock, jazz, and jam band with extended improvisational solo breaks. Mustered Courage's third album, White Lies & Melodies, was nominated for Best Country Album at the ARIA Music Awards of 2015. The band's song "Candle Creek" won the Golden Guitar Awards for Instrumental of the Year at the 43rd CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia in 2015.

Mustered Courage was born. Powerlines shows off stronger vocals and name-drops some American motifs- Nashville and New Orleans both get mentions in Steam Train. The new material is less plucking, with more emphasis on the honky-tonk imagery. It’s fitting, since the quartet has embarked on their first American tour, finally visiting the places that inspire their unique sound.
