Love is the third studio album by Scottish pop group Aztec Camera, released in November 1987 on Sire. While it was released under the Aztec Camera name, Roddy Frame was the only remaining permanent member of the group and he recorded the album alongside a group of session musicians. Unlike previous Aztec Camera albums, there's not one unifying style to the disc, and the variety makes Stray one of Frame's better collections. From the assured rocking pop of the singles "The Crying Scene" (the closest thing Aztec Camera ever got to an American hit single) and "Good Morning Britain" (a rousing collaboration with Mick Jones of the Clash and Big Audio Dynamite) to the cool, Chet Baker-ish cocktail jazz of "Over My Head," Frame covers the waterfront, but it's the quartet of songs

Stray is the fourth album by British group Aztec Camera, released in July 10, 1990 on the Sire Records label. Stray was praised for its diversity of songs and styles, and for the assured nature of Roddy Frame's lyrics (which had been considered the weak-point of some of his earlier material).

Stray was a more adventurous side of Aztec Camera, but it's still an amazing album, by a very under rated band. After several hits in the 80's pop scene, Aztec Camera started the 90's with an overlooked gem. That gem was simply called "Stray". Stray" has all the witty, sweet lyrics and charm from the earlier albums but it seems to me that this is a bit more mature.
