Berlin-based DJ Stefan Goldmann’s latest twelve for his Macro label plays like a cross-section of what’s adorned him to his fans, and why he’s so good at filling floors at residence at the city’s Panorama Bar: storming 4/4 beats, gliding synths and just a shimmer of prog house experimentalism. Lead track ‘Minute Blaze’ combines an irresistible windscreen-wiper rhythm with zapping bass and wah-wah guitar; on the flipside, ‘Fat Tails’ maintains the energy with vocodered blips mixed into dub techno signatures, like R2-D2 visiting Chicago.

Stefan Goldmann ( 1978) is a German-Bulgarian DJ and composer of electronic music. His music was released on records since 2001 through labels such as Perlon, Innervisions and others before founding his own imprint, Macro, in 2007.
