Album Interstate Gospel. There ain't a damn man in Dallas Who wouldn't put a ring on my hand Red dirt queen of the palace I'm runnin' through 'em like a watering can. My sugar daddy's got a pool in the back Got a rifle in the rack of his Cadillac Drivin' me crazy My sugar daddy's got diamonds in his watch Got a boat on the dock, 'cause a-why not? I'm his lady Give me some sugar daddy

Food and drink company.

Album: Interstate Gospel (2018). Get the Sheet Music License This Song. My sugar daddy's got diamonds in his watch Got a boat on the dock 'Cause a-why not? I'm his lady Give me some sugar daddy. The fact that Lambert's man happens to owns a boat and a diamond encrusted watch only adds to his appeal. The three girls each take a verse, and by the end of the song, it becomes clear that it's the Pistol Annies who are in charge of the relationships. Ashley Monroe sings in the final verse: After I leave him high on the hog I'll let him drink from the fountain And leave him wantin' more like a boss.

Notes

"Sugar Pistol" features a kazoo covering the hymn "What A Friend We Have In Jesus".

This album is nearly identical to the first "Duraluxe" album, "Rock Music W/ Singing" (Flying Tart #51416-5248-2). The difference is the inclusion of an old Sacred Harp tune ("Wayfaring Stranger") here.
