Under Chandeliers, TRACK. Elision, CD. Reference Point 1, TRACK. Richard Chartier (again often under the pseudonym Pinkcourtesyphone) began DJing in 1991, in the heyday of techno. As a DJ he is best known for his nights FILLER (2001-2003), Mies (2004-2005), and Procedure (2005-2010) in Washington, DC as well as the Treatment (2002-2003) monthly event at Sonar in Baltimore.

amorphous, changing, slipping in & out of consciousness. operates like a syrup-y dream. strives to be both elegant & detached.

A turn in a darker direction for Richard Chartier under the Pinkcourtesyphone moniker. There are hints that it is indeed Pinkcourtesyphone, but overall it is a sleep inducing minimal dark ambient album. While I did enjoy it as I have all of his past work, I doubt I'll be giving Indelicate Slices another visit. Or consider a donation? Track List.

Notes

My heart sank this morning waking up to news of the appalling, senseless and brutal killing of members of my, the LGBTQ, community in Orlando, Florida at the Pulse nightclub. This is the largest mass shooting in US history and its shameful.

I have been working on this piece for a while but it always just felt so dark. Darkness is what I feel today. This work is dedicated to the victims of all violence against LGBTQ people.
