Sunrise is a two-disc compilation of Elvis Presley's studio recordings at Sun Studio from 1953 to 1955, released in 1999, RCA 67675-2. This set features all of the surviving master recordings made by Presley and his accompanists, Scotty Moore and Bill Black, occasionally augmented by other musicians, prior to his arrival on RCA Records in 1956. Tapes for at least three songs have been lost: Sun versions of "I Got A Woman", "Uncle Pen", and "Satisfied"

Fourteen songs from Elvis Presley 's Louisiana Hayride appearances in the mid-'50s - a well-traveled body of work that has been issued in various different permutations - are on this CD. While any live recordings of Presley from so early in his career have high historical importance, this package has its flaws. Although the sound is, through no fault of the compilers, not very good or well-recorded due to limitations in the source tapes, they're exciting performances that give a good idea of the brash excitement generated by Elvis onstage in the early days.
