June of 44 was an American rock band which was formed in 1994 from ex-members of Rodan, Lungfish, Rex, and Hoover. The band's name refers to the period during which writers Henry Miller and Anaïs Nin corresponded. The band toured extensively and reached as far as Australia. June of 44 were a collective from 1994 to 2000. All the members were living in different cities at the time.

Edition size of approximately 60x copies. Notes on this "wooden box" edition from June of 44's Jeff Mueller (via email) regarding edition size:
"We started with the intention to make 200. A friend forged a brass branding iron that sorta worked, but it failed after the first 10. I ended up lightly screen printing the design as a guide for a wood burning tool, hand work galore. After 50 of those- I stopped. The wood itself started bowing."
