Blood & Lemonade is the fifth studio album by American rock band American Hi-Fi. It was released on September 9, 2014, through Rude Records. It is their first album since 2010's Fight the Frequency. The first single released was "Allison", issued in the summer of 2014. The second single is "Golden State". All tracks written by Stacy Jones, except where noted. Stacy Jones - lead vocals, guitar. Jamie Arentzen - guitar, backing vocals. Drew Parsons - bass, backing vocals.

American Hi-Fi is an American rock band formed in Boston in 1998. The band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Stacy Jones, lead guitarist Jamie Arentzen, bassist and backing vocalist Drew Parsons, and drummer Brian Nolan. Prior to the group's formation, Stacy Jones was well known for being a drummer in the successful alternative rock bands Veruca Salt and Letters to Cleo.

In fifth album ‘Blood & Lemonade’, American Hi-Fi deliver the kind of melodic, moody fare that would be right at home soundtracking a US teen drama. It’s promising in places, with occasional lyrical genius and wailing guitars impressing, but by and large it lacks the balls to really make an impact. The songs meander along pleasantly enough, but it’s crying out for a killer chorus and a chunky riff or two to crank things up a notch. There’s hope in bouncy standout ‘Carry The Sorrow’, but this album is okay, and not much else
