Saint Etienne are an English band from London, formed in 1990. The band consists of Sarah Cracknell, Bob Stanley and Pete Wiggs. They became associated with the UK's indie dance scene in the 1990s, beginning with the release of their debut album Foxbase Alpha in 1991. Their work has been described as uniting 1990s club culture with 1960s pop and other disparate influences. The name of the band come from the French football club of AS Saint-Étienne.

The songs' glide and swirl make the band’s coming-of-age reflections seem all the more poignant. Tracks like DJ, Tonight," and The Last Days of Disco seamlessly blend memories of young romance and musical infatuation. Band members Bob Stanley, Pete Wiggs, and Sarah Cracknell draw upon their collective love for yesterday’s tunes and fashions to make this deeply personal album feel both uplifting and bittersweet. The songs' glide and swirl make the band’s coming-of-age reflections seem all the more poignant.

It is unfortunate too, but really needs to be specifically mentioned, that Sarah Cracknell’s lyrics throughout the album are also particularly bad. As her posh faux-American Kylie Minogue accent consistently drops into, simply, a posh English accent, the songs are full of consistently embarrassing, cringe-inducing imagery and sentiments

Issued in an A5 sized custom box. Included in the package is an A5 sized booklet, 4 postcards, a metal pin badge, and a fold out song map (A3 sized poster of the front cover in a map format). Each disc is packaged in a separate shrinkwrapped gatefold card sleeve.

MP3s in 320kbps format for all three discs were provided via a download link on 2012-05-21 for those that pre-ordered this set.

Tracklist errors: on the front, track 5 is listed as 'Answer Song' and track 6 as 'Tonight', which is the wrong way around; also on front, track 4 is given as 'The Last Days Of Disco', but on the reverse it's given as 'Last Days Of Disco'.
