Cecil Bustamente Campbell OD (24 May 1938 – 8 September 2016), known professionally as Prince Buster, was a Jamaican singer-songwriter and producer. The records he released in the 1960s influenced and shaped the course of Jamaican contemporary music and created a legacy of work that would be drawn upon later by reggae and ska artists. Cecil Bustamente Campbell was born in Orange Street in Kingston, Jamaica, on 24 May 1938.

The Blue Beat Singles 1961-1962. I am one of the lucky once to get my hands on this out of print album. It is exactly what I expected and more. From classic ska originals like "One Step Beyond" the original version that was later covered by the band Madness and started the 1980's two tone ska explosion to "Whine or Grind" a skinhead reggae rhythm that was covered by the Special Beat as "Stand Down Margaret". If you are a true lover of ska and rocksteady you must find this album.
