The Complete Master Works is a two-DVD set by Tenacious D, documenting their gig at the Brixton Academy on November 3, 2002. The DVD also contains the band's short lived HBO TV series, a collection of short films, two documentaries on the band, music videos, and live TV appearances. The video was a major success, going 6 platinum in the US and 2 platinum in Australia in the Video Longform category.

This DVD Release (Complete Masterworks) contains the groundbreaking, hard to get (legally), HBO episodes which tell the tale of The D in their early days on the road to stardom. Also included is the concert at London's Brixton Academy that was by chance recorded on November 3, 2002 Written by DFalkenberg.

Tenacious D began life when Jack Black and Kyle Gass started playing guitar together in Kyle's apartment in Los Angeles. From there, they played their first gig in 1994 at Al's Bar; it consisted of just one song, "Tribute", which was about "the best song in the world", even though their song didn't actually sound anything like that song.
