Ocrilim is one of the solo monikers of Mick Barr (guitarist of Orthrelm, Krallice, Octis, etc based in Washington . Mick's first release under this monkier was the Ocrilorx-1 7" in 2003. Mick has said the following in comparison to his other solo project, Octis: "Ocrilim is Mick Barr overthinking. Octis is Mick Barr underthinking.

In 2008, a second album appeared, this time on the post metal/avant metal label Hydrahead, entitled Annwn. The project (Ocrilim as well as Octis) also made waves in a handful of live appearances over the years.

Don't get me wrong, I love basically everything else Mick Barr does or has done. However, I can't listen to this album. It is one 33 min song, with three seconds of insanely fast guitar, and then four seconds of the same feedback, over and over. The guitar work is awesome, but because the repetitive feedback interrupts so often, its basically the only thing I hear.
