Talk about Frank De Wulf - Drums In A Grip

Rollers from Abdun
Not a big Techno lover... it's the Wax Doctor flip I'm writing about. Simple but deep jungle roller that you will never get tired of. Twenty years on & sounds decent... originally featured on the masterpiece Logical Progression mix CD by Bukem. Although pretty much every track in that set is nice, Drums In A Grip still stands out. A cool jungle 12".

It's all about Wax Doctor remix. Remix known from Bukem "Logical Progression vol.1". How far Wax goes from original...so far!
Debeme
A Bukem opener - very classy stuff, atmospheric and soothing yet still retains the pure jungle vibe to move the floor

I have three copies of this, originally purchased for the fantastic Wax Doctor remix. One is my original which I will not part company with as I love the tune : )One is the same release, but has a jump on the Wax Doctor remix (shame, I'd rather it be on the techno mixes as I don't like them!).The third copy is the mis-press version, where the Wax Doctor remix doesn't exist. Also, it is 33 rpm as opposed to 45, which all the other versions should be played at - but the label says 45 regardless. All have the same catalogue number, HHUK003

I have a copy of Eye-Q UK 003 (another Harthouse sub-label release), which has this releases exact sleeve art and information label. Very strange - I guess my point here is mispresses of this do exist (as a full art release there must be more than one), so be careful when purchasing it online, or from somewhere you can't give it a listen. Eye-Q UK 003 is also three track plate by the way, another visual clue for you... 2 tracks on the B-side.

One of the Harthouse crew member, inclement sounds and deep'n'hard drums make this so pure in our times. Back to the old school minimal techno with this record is rigt way on the 3PM at the party. Hard, inclement, deep, but very warm track...enjoy!
