A tremendous pianist whose lack of restraint was his only musical fault, Bobby Enriquez is in splendid form for this collaboration with Japanese arranger Bingo Miki. Enriquez's piano is in the forefront throughout the six-song "Andalucia Suite" (written by Cuban composer Ernesto Lecuona in 1928), plus four shorter numbers. The orchestral backing clearly inspired Enriquez, making this a recommended set. Track Listing.

Bobby Enriquez had the nickname of "the Wildman," a title he earned through his very hyper piano playing. A virtuoso who was largely self-taught from the age of four, Enriquez was a professional by the time he was 14. In the 1960s, he played in Manila, Hong Kong, and Honolulu, becoming Don Ho's musical director for a time. The Greatest PianoJazz player the world has ever seen.
