Deerhoof always know how to put together a thoroughly weird and idiosyncratic video, which is exactly what they did for their latest single Paradise Girls off their recently released album La Isla Bonita. For much of the video, an energetic dancer’s face is the only one you see - everybody else is wrapped up tightly in a costume that looks like a cross between some cow udders and a pink ghost. Slowly, their faces start to emerge in an oddly gross birthing sequence, and then they dance around a lot. It’s a really fun video, and you can watch below. La Isla Bonita is out now via Polyvinyl.
