It's Time! is an album recorded by a group led by American saxophonist Jackie McLean recorded in 1964 and released on the Blue Note label. All compositions by Jackie McLean except as noted. It's Album Time is the debut studio album by Norwegian DJ and record producer Todd Terje, released on 8 April 2014 by Olsen Records. The album was self-produced by Terje and was recorded in a span of three years. The album debuted at number 2 in Terje's home country of Norway, number 4 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart, number 23 on the UK Albums Chart, and number 6 on the UK Dance Albums chart.

Glad this was released on cd its a gem and runs the gamut of funky synth rock to a slight progressive rock elasticity.Don not only understands how to use the analog synthesizers nuances to add alot of depth to all the performances.I like the fact that not every track sounds the same and he is willing to stretch his chops into more than one style. He not only uses a real drummer but embellishes the music with those lovely clunky old analog drum machines on a few tracks. The only downside is a few tracks with vocals which are not the worst Ive heard but just creates an unevenness to the flow of such a energetic album i.e. the ballad here is not one of his stronger moments.I am surmising he was probably a studio musician at the time and mos likely a rep for ARP synthesizers given the array of that particular brand of synthesizer is all over this album i.e. String ensemble, 2600 and Pro-Soloist.Oh, and its a very well recorded album clean and well balanced.

This is one of the most incredible albums of all time. Being a keyboard player/enthusiast as well as huge fan of solo artists who manage to play multiple instruments and even sing! Don Muro is a legend on the mini-moog synth as much as he is a legend in music creation. applying so many elements to his music to please any and every listener. It's time is a great synth-pop/synth starter for the album. Current Events is a smooth ambient ride through synthesizers, organs and electric pianos. Sweet Little Thing ties is some really classic rock elements while also throwing in some cool drums, bass and synth. Leap Frog is just a chaos of Digital Sequencer and Sythn. Squash is my favorite cut. Adds almost everything don Muro has to offer in one song. Love the lyrics. Island In the Sun reminds me of the Fishermans Horizion song from FF8. Electronic/Synth Beauty! Want You To Know has a guitar melody that everyone should recognize and im sure enjoys. smooth vocals. Lay Low Day has a great classic rock vibe with some heavy drums and nice guitar riffs. Music box... Frank Mills Music Box Dancer, gets a run for it's money with crispy clean, light and mellow song. Something everyone should hear on vinyl in my opinion. & finally Russian Dreamer a perfect ending using some synths, organs, and a arpigator?. Basically this album has it all. 5/5
