Rush (the album) and snakes and arrows should be much higher just have to listen to them all the way through, they are pretty spectacular. Who am I kidding anyone of Rush's albums is spectacular. Other than Moving Pictures, I feel that this album has some very good melodies, excellent bass and drums. I like the guitar, despite it not taking a formal rock position on the album.

When their third album flopped, Rush had a choice in 1976: to acquiesce to the demands of the record label, or to defiantly do their own thing. They chose the latter, achieved worldwide fame soon after, and were never again told what to do. Rush is the living embodiment of integrity in rock music, and it’s for that simple reason that we celebrate the Canadian legends’ vast, rich discography.
