Deborah Conway Friday 28/6/2002. We’re rounding off the month with an Australian rock star who’s not quite a legend yet, but certainly deserves an important place in the Australian rock almanac. In fact not just in rock - Deborah Conway is a multi faceted artist. She first came to prominence with the band Do Re Mi and the hit single Man Overboard. After this she recorded her first solo album, String of Pearls which won an ARIA award. This concert, with Willy Zygier and City of Women features songs mainly from her fourth album, Exquisite Stereo. It was recorded in 2000, at the Continental Café in Melbourne. A note of nostalgia there, as the Continental is now no more.
Last Album: Exquisite Stereo (2000). This Album: PC: The Songs of Patsy Cline (2001). Back In Baby's Arms". Sweet Dreams (Of You)" (featuring Glenn Richards).
