Less than three minutes into 1990's Stay Sick!, the Cramps had summed up their entire aesthetic in a mere 16 words, and even if Lux Interior hadn't bothered to wail that deathless phrase, the buzzy, reverb-soaked report of Poison Ivy Rorschach's guitar and the primal earthquake stomp of Nick Knox's drums reminded us this band liked its music.

Stay Sick! is the fourth studio album (and ninth album overall) by the American garage punk band the Cramps. It was released on February 12, 1990 by Enigma Records. Recorded at Music Grinder in Hollywood, California, the album was self-produced by Cramps guitarist Poison Ivy and engineered by Steve McMillan. It was the last studio album to feature founding drummer Nick Knox. Bikini Girls with Machine Guns" was the band's only UK Top 40 single, reaching No. 35 in 1989.

LP (12" album, 33 rpm), Includes Download Card. Cramps Format: Vinyl. Stay Sick! "Please retry". Sex-classic Stay Sick! was originally released in 1990 and features more of the dark side of rockabilly in a jugular vein. The opener, a hopped-up cover of obscure Sun Records tune Bop Pills, proves that rumors of amphetamine usage by the original Memphis rockabilly cats was not exaggerated, and sets the pace for the rest of the album.

The Cramps were an American Blues band formed in 1976 and active until 2009. The band split after the death of lead singer Lux Interior. Their line-up rotated frequently during their existence, with the husband-and-wife duo of Interior and lead guitarist and occasional bass guitarist Poison Ivy comprising the only ever-present members. The addition of guitarist Bryan Gregory and drummer Pam Balam resulted in the first complete lineup in April 1976.
