She lived in Los Angeles, CA. for 15 years where she worked as a real estate agent. From 1972-1990, Markeeta was a tainer in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and USA. She was a 2002-2007 Council Member for the City of Waitsburg WA and 2007-2010 Mayor of the City of Waitsburg
