I bought "Rain Forest" in the 60s just on the strength of the album cover. The music inside matched its joyful color and evocative, tropical lushness. Wanderley had his biggest hit with the "Summer Samba" on this record, I guess, but he went on to record two albums that were even better, "Cheganca" and "Batucada. I wish these were not so criminally hard to get on CD. His improvisational finesse is at times absolutely amazing on these records and in a number of cuts on two later ones, "Moondreams" and "When It Was Done.
