Keyboardist, synthesist, and guitarist Carlos Guirao was a founding member of the electronic music group Neuronium, appearing on their first five albums. Guirao also took part in the 1981 jam sessions in London with Vangelis which are captured on the album "A Separate Affair", released in 1996. Shortly after leaving Neuronium Guirao recorded his first solo album, "Revelation" (1982). He then founded the techno duo Programa with Josep Antoni López, releasing two albums in the mid 1980s. After more than two decades without any new releases Guirao lent the tapes from a second.

Original member of Neuronium, Carlos Guirao joined the band circa 1976 and stayed with them until some period in time when differences and tension grew between him and Michel Huygen and it was decided that each would go its own way, Huygen as Neuronium and Guirao under his own name. He released an album of melodic Electronic Music in 1982 and continued to work with a crossover synth-pop, EM outfit Programa. After that he resumed working as a solo artist.

Carlos Guirao Felices was a musician and composer born in Barcelona 23 February 1954. He died in Barcelona 17 January 2012. Carlos Guirao was member of several groups being the most well-known Neuronium, Programa and Cherish Band. In 1981 he performed for the Spanish Television program "Musical Express". This program consisted of interviews and performances. This program included a performance of Carlos and Michel Huygen jointly with Vangelis at the Nemo Studio in London.
