Here and Nowhere Else is the third studio album and fourth LP overall by Cloud Nothings. It was released on April 1, 2014 on Carpark Records, and was produced and mixed by John Congleton. In the spirit of Japandroids' instant classic Celebration Rock from 2012, Here and Nowhere Else captures the sound and spirit of guys who've learned over time how to best harness their own vitality. On both records, that includes a periodic willingness to embrace joy in ways Cloud Nothings rarely attempted before. The snarling ferocity of past records hasn't been muted so much as channeled and streamlined.

Cloud Nothings have announced their next LP, the followup to 2012's excellent Attack on Memory. The album is called Here and Nowhere Else, out on April 1 via Carpark and Mom + Pop in the . and Hi-Note in Taiwan/China/Hong Kong, March 31 in Europe through Wichita, March 26 via Hostess in Japan, and March 28 via Stop Start in Australia and New Zealand. In late 2012, Cloud Nothings announced that they would be recording a noisier album than their last effort Attack on Memory, and at least one song would sound like early Wire. What the band may have lost in the departure of Joe Boyer, Baldi makes up for in his improved playing. Rather than hiring a new guitarist, Dylan takes both the lead and rhythm parts in a manner that makes his early Wire comparisons seem justified
