Album · 2010 · 13 Songs. New Zealand native Brooke Fraser's literate lyrics and wistful melodic bent show an increasing maturity, while her sweet, slightly aching voice conveys fragility with great underlying strength. Fraser moves beyond the introspection of 2006’s Albertine to paint more diverse portraits and scenes. Her musical palette is rich and diverse - Jack Kerouac percolates with Afrobeat guitar lines, providing contrast to the glistening arctic tones of Ice On Her Lashes

The text of the entry was as follows: "Did you know.

Brooke Fraser ‎– Flags. Label: Wood & Bone ‎– TIME 619 CD. Format: CD, Album, SuperJewelCase. Shadowfeet" and "Albertine" taken from Brooke Fraser's album titled "ALBERTINE" release in 2006.

Brooke Fraser Lyrics. Come, tell me your trouble I'm not your answer But I'm a listening ear. Reality has left you reeling All facts and no feeling No faith and all fear. I don't know why a good man will fall While a wicked one stands And our lives blow about Like flags on the land. Who's at fault is not important Good intentions lie dormant And we're all to blame. While apathy acts like an ally My enemy and I are one and the same.
