This album is one of Diamandas best. The Singer being Galás 1992 release is her singing own versions of classical blues and gospel songs. Galás has very unique vocals and one always here that it is here singing. The cover is an alright photograph of Calás looking pensive but the hair is not so nice. Only two of the tracks have lyrics but we get a list of whom plays what on the album.
