Duet is the second and final album by Illinois Speed Press (1970 release). By this time, the album was driven by its two founding members, Paul Cotton and Kal David, with the help of session musicians. Songs vary between bluesy rock and country rock. Poco fans will recognize Paul Cotton, as he joined Poco shortly after this album was released. In fact, Paul’s song, Bad Weather, also appears the Poco album From the Inside.

The song actually first appeared on the second ISP album, "Duet. David went on to form The Fabulous Rhinestones with, among others, ex-Electric Flag bass player Harvey Brooks. The Rhinestones were criminally underrated and underappreciated. Great album with 4 or 5 classics. Rare and was hard to find. The fact that the group folded early is a big untold story of rock music.
