Spectrum (Billy Cobham album). Spectrum is the debut solo album by jazz fusion drummer Billy Cobham. The album was heavily influenced by the music of Miles Davis, with whom Cobham had previously collaborated extensively, and Cobham's previous band Mahavishnu Orchestra. The song "Stratus" appears in the video game Grand Theft Auto IV of the radio station "Fusion FM", as well as being the main sample in the Massive Attack hit "Safe from Harm".

Milestones Dutch producer, songwriter, t and performer Jasper Wijnands AKA Shook is set to release second album 'Spectrum' on 19th November. First single 'Violet Hues' is riddled with a boatload of both modern and classic synth-sounds and accompanied by smooth vocals, characterized by the vintage Shook-sound, but with a more developed musical pallet.

Still in 1971 SPECTRUM re-entered the recording studios to lay down the tracks the second album, "Milesago". Published late in 1971, and released in the January of 1972 "Milesago" is a 2LP set that gave the band more expansive canvas to explore and experiment with its music. Released to critical acclaim, "Milesago" is significant in that it was the first Australian rock double LP - of any rock genre, progressive or otherwise - and only the second Australian double LP for all music categories.
