Talk about Roy Milton And His Solid Senders - Big Fat Mama / Thrill Me

Braswyn
Probably not very PC - but brilliant! Roy has a smooth voice, great brass band backing. This Oklahoma born jump blues singer could swing! This release was done in 1947. He basic put Specialty records on the map, then did some for Dootone, Warwick and King labels. Camille Howard was his boogie piano guy. Members of his group were Earl Simms, Buddy Floyd, Eddie Taylor, Roy Milton, Camille Howard, Hosea Sapp, Edward David Robinson. He put out many, many charted R&B hits in the 40's and 50's.
