They have spent a total of 182 weeks on the singles and albums charts combined as of 2017, and have accumulated 25 top 75 singles between 1997 and 2012. At their peak of commercial success, Feeder were at the end of 2006 one of the most successful artists of all time in the UK Single and Album charts combined.

High" is a song by Feeder, released as the band's fourth and final single from the album Polythene. This track was not included on the album until its re-issue in October of the same year, and is seen as a fan anthem. The chorus has similarities to The Smashing Pumpkins song "Mayonaise". It was the first Feeder single to be playlisted on BBC Radio 1, reaching in the UK Singles Chart making it their first top 40 hit. It also got extensive radio play, and made the B-list.

Album: High - Single, 1997. High was the first UK hit for Feeder. It came from the album Polythene.

Guess im stuck in a dream Surrounded by coloured leaves on the ground As i stare at the trees I see one fall down on my hand As i start to explore I can't ignore a man He turn his head around His face was all worn by the sun. Im going out for a while So i can get high with my friends I will I'm going out for a while Don't wait up cause i won't be home Today. Drifting down the road Losing myself in a dream Feel my hands getting cold Sat in a boat on a lake
