Thin Lizzy - Bad Reputation flac album

Bad Reputation is the eighth studio album by the Irish rock band Thin Lizzy, released in 1977. He had missed most of their previous tour, following a hand injury sustained in a brawl, and this album turned out to be his last studio effort with Thin Lizzy. On 27 June 2011, a new remastered and expanded version of Bad Reputation was released.

If Thin Lizzy got a bit too grand and florid on Johnny the Fox, they quickly corrected themselves on its 1977 follow-up, Bad Reputation. Teaming up with legendary producer Tony Visconti, Thin Lizzy managed to pull off a nifty trick of sounding leaner and tougher than they did on Johnny, yet they also had a broader sonic palette  . It adds up to an album that rivals Jailbreak as their best studio album.

About Bad Reputation. Well, I had the riff down. Phil came up and he says, ‘We need to do an off-time thing with this. He started to work with Brian Downey on that, and that’s when they came up with this strange timing that you don’t usually associate with Thin Lizzy. I listened to that and went, ‘Man, that is so fucking cool, it’s unbelievable,’ and I jumped in on it. Then it kind of developed itself from there.
