Darlene Wright (born July 26, 1941), known by her stage name, Darlene Love, is an American popular music singer and actress. She gained prominence in the 1960s for the song "He's a Rebel," a No. 1 American single in 1962, and was one of the artists who performed on the celebrated Christmas album A Christmas Gift for You from Phil Spector, produced by Phil Spector in 1963. She is ranked number 84 among Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Singers.

Darlene Shrugg Darlene Shrugg are a rock band from Toronto. DARLENE SHRUGG is: Carlyn Bezic Amanda Crist Meg Remy Simone TB Maximilian 'Twig' Turnbull.

Born July 26th, 1941. Key Tracks "He's a Rebel," "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)," "He's Sure the Boy I Love". On that album, there are strings and beats, but it isn't very full musically, so she has to do all the dynamics and everything. If you really want to hear what she can do, listen to "It's Oh So Quiet," from Post: She can go from zero to 60 faster than any other vehicle in terms of singing.

The photograph was apparently taken by someone in Darlene’s family, sometime in 1966 or 1967. According to her family, Darlene left Vallejo in October 1965 after some disagreement with family members. She later met Jim Phillips and the couple married in January 1966. Darlene and Jim lived in various places before returning to Vallejo in October 1966, and remained married until they divorced in June 1967.

Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, United States (1941 – present). Amazingly, Darlene Love, a superb vocalist, hasn't had much of a track record as a solo singer, at least not in terms of hits.

Darlene from Calgary, Canadahehe. I used to hate my name but now i love it because Led Zeppelin is cool and they have a song with my name. I agree with you collin. IMO, this is the best song off the Coda album. John from West Covina, CaI actually have that 1993 boxed set. This song's good but not the greatest.
