Airut:aamujen is the fourth full-length album of the Tenhi and the second part in their Airut-saga. The album was initially released in 2004 through the band's own label, Utustudio, under the name Harmaa instead of Tenhi. In October 2006 the album was re-released under the name Tenhi through the German label Prophecy Productions.

Re-released around the time of Tenhi’s seminal 2006 record Maaäet, Airut: Aamujen marks a substantial departure from the Finnish trio’s typical, folk-influenced progressive music template. Whereas previous outings centered on plucked acoustic guitars and employed an exotic array of techniques and instruments, including flute, cello, jaw harp and didgeridoo, the band chose to alter their foundation with Airut: Aamujen and winnow the instrumentation in favor of a stripped down sound.

However, now that they have signed to Auerbach the album has been resurrected and has been released under the name of Tenhi as they do feel that it fits in within their Airut saga. For those, like me, who only came across them with the release eight months ago of 'Maa�et' then this is yet another joy. Here the only instrumentation comes from Ilmari Issakainen who provides drums, piano and bass, while there are two singers in Tyko Saarikko and Janina Lehto and a backing singer in Tuuka Tolvanen
