One of the regrettable thing is that Triumph waited way too long to release a live album, their only official live album coming after seven studio album. And a few more only released this very decade. So for those wanting to experience Triumph's early concerts, you can only try the King Biscuit Hour special but even then, this came after their fifth allied Forces, but it sure as hell gives you a better idea than their deceiving Stages album.

Before they were on par with Rush as Canada's prog-rock heroes, Triumph were earnestly forging away to develop their sound. captures just that: the band's debut recording while they were still finding and developing the formulas that would make them so successful. The opening "24 Hours a Day" wouldn't sound out of place during the finest moments of Boston's catalog, but the majority of the tunes found herein are highly informed by the presence of Led Zeppelin.
