Way back in the early 1950’s there was a very popular band called the Eddie Zima Orchestra which was comprised of Eddie Zima, concertina, Andy Day, trumpet, Wally Glowicki and Roman Travers, clarinet and sax, Frank Barwig, piano and Rudy Sienkowski, drums. The boys had their parting of ways with Eddie Zima in 1954 and thus the Ampol Aires were born. Tom Kula, concertina, clarinet and sax, was added to the group to make the band complete. Dick Zimber, bass fiddle joined the group a couple of years later

Polkas For Children" - A unique collection of 14 polkas, obereks and waltzes for children. Although the polka bears only distant resemblance to what is popularly dubbed "Polish Folk Culture," it continues to thrive as a vital element in a uniquely Polish American folk tradition rooted in the historic fabric of ethnic community life.
