C2C (also known as Coups2Cross) is a French musical group formed in 1998 in the city of Nantes. The collaboration group consists of 4 French DJs: Atom and pFeL from Beat Torrent and 20Syl and Greem from Hocus Pocus. Each member of the group uses his turntable as an instrument, recreating in turn drums, bass guitars, scratching a guitar riff, or simulating a brass instrument.

C2C is a french group comprised of four of the worlds master turntablists. They’ve won the World Team DJ Championship four years in a row (2003–2006) and numerous other mixing competitions. While they haven't released much studio material, they just came out with their first EP and as their record (sorry for the pun) shows, they can spin a nice sound. Drawing inspiration from classic rock, jazz, and even some charleston ballroom type sounds, C2C puts a unique electronic spin on each of these genres. I simply can’t get enough of the fresh tracks that seem to be pouring out of France. It must be something in the food over there that makes for an disproportionate number of great DJ's. If you’ve been keeping up with Breakbot then you’ll be also be familiar with Irfane, who makes an appearance with a little remix on track 6.Give this EP a listen because it’s been too long since you’ve heard a nice little harmonica riff chopped up on a turntable for your listening pleasure.keepinmusicclassy.com
