You do not end up in the Stevenson Scottish Good Food to 20 without a valid reason. Surprising combination of tastes will be your experience. As hotel guests we were welcomed with a nice cup of coffee. Worth noting too is the fact that the restaurant was full for a midweek lunch in a small rural village which says a lot for the reputation of the Barley Bree. The restaurant was not noisy though and we had a great time! Date of visit: August 2017.
