Stewart released his second album, Gasoline Alley that autumn. Stewart's approach was similar to his first album and mandolin was introduced into the sound. He then launched a US tour with the Faces. Records and remained with them throughout the vast majority of his career (Faces were signed to Warner Bros. and Stewart's solo releases in the UK appeared on the Riva label until 1981).
