This came out on a Prototype TP in 2002 and got absolutely slated by forum users on Drum & Bass Arena (as did anything around that era if it wasn't by Bad Company or Andy C) and sadly never received a full release. (Many of the comments on the forum focussed childishly on D&B forum users hatred of Craig David, whom doesn't actually feature on the record but had co-featured with Lifford on an Artful Dodger tune a couple of years earlier and was undergoing a huge critical backlash at the time). It used to the tune playing when you went on the Prototype Recordings website.I've heard a few comments subsequently saying that the quality of pressing on the promo's was also very poor and might have accounted for DJ's at the time not playing it. I think it's a massive shame, because it's a great track and could have done really well on more liquid floors at the time.

When it got previewed on the Drum and Bass Arena website, people in the forum absolutely slated it. There were easily 500 responses, and the majority were negative. It is a departure from Grooverider's usual dark, hardstep style of Drum & Bass, with a definite R&B vibe to it and more in the realm of Fabio's Liquid Funk genre. I totally disagree with the haters and I would encourage people to search out a copy if they can. There aren't many Drum & Bass tracks that incorporate spanish guitar so thoughtfully and effectively. I think the production is excellent and Lifford's vocals, although not as audible as they could be, add a special touch to this record.
