Rogue Wave is an indie rock band from Oakland, California, and headed by Zach Schwartz (. Zach Rogue) who created the band after losing his job in the dot-com bust. Their first album was Out of the Shadow which was released privately in 2003 and re-released in 2004. In the fall of 2004 they went on a national tour of the United States. Their most recent album, Cover Me, was released on February 17, 2017, through Easy Sound Recording Company.

Oakland’s Rogue Wave are an early-aughts indie rock outfit now halfway through the second decade of their career. Last year, they released their sixth studio album Delusions Of Grand Fur, and today, we’re premiering the band’s upcoming ’80s covers album Cover Me, which features nine reinterpretations of decade classics, including In Between Days by the Cure and That’s All by Genesis.

Hey Everybody: We are truly saddened to announce that due to unforeseen technical and sound issues at the venue, we have no choice but to cancel tonight’s show at the Constellation Room. It’s a huge bummer and we are very very sorry. The whole reason we went on this Asleep at Heaven’s Gate 10 year anniversary tour was to acknowledge how much our fans mean to us and we’re not willing to put on a show that will be compromised to the point in which we’re unable to perform. venue is working on the problem and we’re hopeful they will be back up and running soon
